Calcium Nitrate is often the first choice for growers to obtain larger fruits and vegetables, faster growth, and strong plants.  It is is high in readily available nitrogen and calcium giving your plants a boost to make them more productive while preventing some of the most common plant problems such as blossom-end rot and rust spot.  For giant growers, add to the soil early in the season for vigorous plant growth so you can pollinate at an earlier date.  The nitrogen effect starts to wane as the pollination season approaches so it won’t interfere with fruit set when used as directed.

DIRECTIONS:

Soil Application: Add 10 pounds per 1,000 square feet and mix thoroughly.

Foliar Spray: Mix 2-4 tablespoons per 1 gallon of water and spray leaves. Be cautious of spraying in direct sun or on hot days as leaf burn can occur.
