This naturally occurring iron-potassium silicate (also called glauconite) is in granular form and can absorb 10 times more moisture, making it an exceptional soil conditioner for pastures, forage fields, lawns, orchards, fruits, vegetables, and greenhouse potting mixes. Super Greensand contains potassium, iron, magnesium, silica, calcium, phosphorus, plus as many as 30 other trace minerals. This product is OMRI-certified organic.

BENEFITS: 

Super Greensand is a great source of slow-release potassium.  When other quick-acting sources of potassium start to wane late in the season, Greensand will still supply the essential nutrient potassium when needed the most. It will help your giants maintain valuable mid-late season weight gain.  Super Greensand also increases the soil capacity to retain water and nutrients permanently and offers a high cation exchange capacity.

DIRECTIONS:

It is best tilled into the soil in the spring or fall before seeding or planting.  Giant Fruits and Vegetables: Use 2 lbs per 100 sq. ft.  Flowers and Vegetables: use 10 lbs per 1000 sq. ft.  Lawns: Use 44 lbs per 1000 sq. ft. and water thoroughly.   Roses and Shrubbery: Use 20 lbs per 1000 sq. ft. Citrus Trees: Spread under the tree canopy at a rate of 10 lbs per 1000 sq. ft. and work into the soil and water thoroughly.  Field Crops: Use 100-300 lbs per acre. For annual maintenance, use 50-200 lbs per acre based on soil quality.
