The 2,237-23 was grown by Wade Klema and JJ Solberg in 2023. The Klema/Solberg Team followed Holland's Fertilizer Program & Growing Guide to achieve these amazing results!
The 1,941-24 was also grown by the Klema/Solberg team and has AMAZING genetics from the 2023 World Record Pumpkin! The growers feel this pumpkin could have grown much bigger but didn't due to a non-genetic stem injury that did not enter the pumpkin cavity. The Klema and Solberg team still won first place at a non-GPC certified weigh-in. Upon harvesting for seeds they noticed that only 30% of the stem allowed nutrients to enter this beast while 70% was scar tissue. Hence, with the amount of scar tissue and the quick pace at which this pumpkin continued to grow, these genetics could grow much much bigger!
